Is there any difference in the OfficeTrack app installation process between Android-based devices and iOS-based devices (including iPhone and iPad)?
The process is very similar, except for the following difference:
- For Android-based devices, OfficeTrack is downloaded from Play Store, while for iOS-based devices, OfficeTrack is downloaded from App Store.
After downloading the application, regardless of the operating system of the mobile device, you can log in in the following ways:
- From the web page: click on “Resources”. Then click on the Actions button>Generate connection codes. Check the box of the employee for whom the code is to be generated. You can generate the code on the web or send it by sms to the employee. Once the code is generated, in the mobile application, you must enter the employee’s name in the “Employee” field and the generated code in “Password”.
- From the application: select “I have no password”. Then enter the subscriber’s cell phone number. You will receive an SMS with the invitation code, which you will have to enter in the application. Touch the check mark and the application will redirect you to the main menu.
Note: the cellular number must be entered from Configuration>Management of subscribers and previously assigned to the employee.
